Group Subsidy Plan

CDU plans offer a cost-effective way for a group or diocese to provide high quality online programs in adult faith formation delivered in a convenient, flexible, and adult-friendly format. CDU handles all the details of student enrollment, monitoring courses, and providing completion certificates.

Depending on the agreement with your group or diocese, an annual fee is paid to subsidize the regular tuition rate of $165 per course or seminar. Then noncredit online courses and seminars are offered to members at a lower tuition rate which is paid by the student. These plans allow a group or diocese to increase the number of adults receiving solid formation in various areas of the Catholic Faith including catechesis, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, Church history, prayer and spirituality, Sacred Scripture, and the Sacraments.

  • Basic Subsidy Plan: 30 enrollments for a low tuition of $45 each; subsidy paid by group.
  • Advanced Subsidy Plan: 1-200 enrollments for low tuition of $45 each; subsidy paid by group.
  • Unlimited Subsidy Plan: 201+ enrollments for low tuition of $45 each; subsidy paid by group.
  • Reduced Basic Plan with Student Supplement: unlimited enrollments for a discounted tuition of $75 each; reduced administrative supplement paid by group.

Subsidy partners also receive a portal on the CDU website containing information about what courses and seminars at CDU match their particular requirements for catechetical certification, diaconate training, or any other certification programs. This plan can be used at the diocesan, parish, Catholic school, religious community, or other group level.
