Information Technology Services serves as the central point of contact for the university community for requesting IT support or information. Our mission is to provide professional and friendly service in support of excellence in teaching, learning, and research.
CDU IT Helpdesk standard support hours are 09:00 am to 05:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding CDU holidays. For IT assistance during business hours, students should email email@example.com. Emails to that address are forwarded to the IT staff and one of them will reach out to assist you. Provide your name, telephone number, best time to reach you, and problem description. For IT assistance outside of normal business hours, if the problem is urgent, indicate the level of urgency in your email to firstname.lastname@example.org. If the issue is not urgent, CDU IT staff will address the issue on the next business day.
Service Level Agreement
CDU IT staff will respond to all inquiries for assistance by the next business day. Depending on the nature of assistance required, CDU IT staff will either resolve the issue themselves or refer the issue to the relevant vendor for support and resolution; for example, Instructure (Canvas), Populi, etc.
