About Fr. John Worgul, PhD

Fr. Worgul received his PhD in Hebrew Bible at the Dropsie College in 1987.  He has taught biblical courses for many years on a seminary level, specializing in biblical studies and has had significant experience in online teaching.  Fr. Worgul has worked extensively with students in the area of spiritual formation and has given seminars on St. John of the Cross and East-West perspectives on prayer and spirituality.

Fr. Worgul was ordained as an Anglican priest in 2001 and was ordained a Catholic Priest for the Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter in September 2013.

His publications include articles, book reviews, contributions to the Dictionary of Christian Spirituality (Zondervan, 2011), and his recently published book on cosmology titled The Little Book of Big Frontiers: Rediscovering the Lost Realms of Christianity (Wipf & Stock, 2012).   Website and blog: ancienthopes.com.
